Your price is built from the market price of the metal on the day you order, the cost of the stones we source for you, and the craftsmanship. Most shops buy finished pieces through wholesalers and apply a large retail markup on top of showroom costs. We don't carry either.

It depends on the design, the metal and the stones. A simple gold ring with a lab-grown diamond typically starts around SGD $800–$1,500. Larger or rarer stones cost more. Share your idea and we'll give you a clear quote based on current material prices.

Yes. Gold trades daily and can shift meaningfully over a few months. Because we price from the current rate rather than a fixed retail markup, you benefit when prices are lower and always know what you're paying for.

Yes — 50% before we begin sourcing stones and crafting, with the balance due before delivery. This is standard for made-to-order jewelry.

It starts with a conversation. Send a sketch, a photo, a description, or a rough idea. We refine the concept and produce a detailed 3D rendering so you can see the piece before it exists. Once you approve it, we source the stones and the piece is handcrafted in Thailand. Usually three to six weeks.

That's what the rendering stage is for. We revise until you're happy, and we don't source a single stone until you've approved the final design.

Absolutely. Change the metal, swap the stones, adjust the size or alter design elements. Treat the collection as a starting point.

Yes. If you have a family heirloom or a gem you've sourced yourself, we can design and craft a setting for it, once we've inspected that it suits the design.

Completely. Lab-grown diamonds and gemstones are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined stones — same hardness, same brilliance, same fire. They are not simulants like cubic zirconia. The only difference is that they were formed in a controlled environment rather than in the ground.

Three reasons: no mining and no conflict concerns; typically 60–80% less than a mined equivalent, so your budget buys a better stone; and they are identical in every measurable way. We also source natural stones for clients who prefer them.

For most fine jewelry, 18K — 75% pure gold, with the best balance of colour and durability for everyday wear. 24K is pure but too soft for most designs; 14K and 10K are harder but contain less gold. We'll advise based on your design.

Yes. Diamonds and significant gemstones come with certification from a recognised laboratory (GIA, IGI or equivalent), and every piece comes with a certificate of authenticity from Maison Sangmanee confirming the materials used.

We help you determine your size before crafting. If the fit is slightly off, resizing is complimentary within 30 days of delivery, subject to the design — some settings cannot be resized.

Yes — complimentary cleaning and inspection for all Maison Sangmanee pieces. White gold that needs rhodium re-plating can be arranged at cost.
